Already equipped with a fleet of 6x long-haul aircraft (4x A330-200F and 2x B777F), CMA CGM AIR CARGO is on an ambitious mission to continue to grow its current fleet with the acquisition of new freighters.


CMA CGM AIR CARGO has already confirmed orders for 4x Airbus A350 freighters and will become the world's first airline to launch and operate this state of the art cargo aircraft.


The Flight Operations Engineer has the primary responsibility of ensuring that all aspects of flight operations are covered before the day of flight.

RESPONSABILITIES:

Bring and promote innovations, initiative, responsiveness, and pragmatism to the Flight Operations Engineering (FOE) department.


Elaborate/improve the business-related procedures of Flight Operations Engineering department and ensure the administration of operations manuals in collaboration with Flight Crew and Operational Control Centre (OCC) members.

Ensure the administration of flight operations software (flight planning, aircraft performance, weight & balance, etc.)

Carry out flight feasibility studies in collaboration with commercial department.

Organize openings of new flight routes and initiations of ad-hoc flights, optimizing the routes and analyzing the airports concerned.

Analyze fuel consumption, monitor aircraft performance trends, and propose corrective actions to improve these indicators.

Ensure the CO2 emissions reporting on monthly, biannual, and annual basis.

Participate in the integration of a brand-new A350F into CMA CGM AIR CARGO's fleet.

Coordinate the deployment and configuration of the related software, adapt the operations manuals, carry out aircraft performance and weight & balance analysis, and obtain all necessary regulatory approvals.

Assist the flight crew and Operational Control Center members in their daily activities.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Aeronautical (or general) engineer (BAC+5) or Master's degree.


PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements.

Ability to work independently and in a team, take initiative, and communicate effectively.

Self-starter and willing to continuously learn new skills to drive the process and technology of CMA CGM AIR CARGO.

Experience in multicultural environment.

Fluency in English.


CONTRACT:

Executive contract with a fixed day rate, based in Marseille. Frequent business trips to Paris CDG office are to be expected.
