Remote, France (Paris East) 75, 94, 93, 77


Discover Impactful Work:


The main focus of the role is repair, maintenance and installation of LC-LSMS products at customer sites across the Service Territory assigned.


A day in the Life:


  • Perform remote and onsite troubleshooting, maintenance, repair and installation on LC-LSMS products;
  • Provide onsite training relative to system service, maintenance, and basic operation.
  • Keep track and maintain local spare part's inventory.
  • Diagnose problems over the phone and/or using remote software. Follow up to ensure problems were resolved to the customer's happiness.
  • Actively supervise the status of contract, warranty and time and material install customers. Track and schedule onsite PM visit(s).
  • Ensure that all documentation related to inhouse and onsite support activity is completed accurately and submitted on a timely basis. This includes maintenance of electronic files, Field Service Reports, Service Work Orders and Quotes.

Keys to Success:


Education
University degree in Sciences, Engineering or equivalent experience.


Experience

  • Background in Chemistry, Biochemistry or Environmental science desired.
  • Experience in technical services on electronic scientific instruments preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Multidisciplinary technical skills / excellent with software, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Systemlevel diagnostic skills using inquiries, observations, system schematics & documentation, software tools, and communications / electrical diagnostic aids (breakout box, meters etc.).
  • Ability to think critically, learn new technologies, cultivate collaboration, clearly document requirements, and deliver results.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; must have a professional working proficiency in French and English.
  • Organization, planning and time management skills.
  • Driving licence required.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% (France)
