    As a Principal Computational Biologist , you will be responsible for shaping and executing the company's computational biology roadmap.

    Your key responsibilities will include:

    Spearheading target discovery initiative.
    Leading the development of biomarker design and discovery strategy.
    Collaborating closely with a team of scientists on internal R&D projects.
    Regularly presenting scientific endeavors to external collaborators and the broader scientific community.
    Constructing multi-modal analysis pipelines that combine patient and PDO-derived omics data with wet-lab findings.
    Working hand-in-hand with cell culture and data management teams to streamline genomics and experimental data workflows.

    This role entails substantial ownership of research projects and has the potential to transition into a pivotal management position within the company.


    Your Background:
    PhD in computational biology, machine learning, or a relevant field.
    Minimum of 3 years' practical experience in spearheading AI-driven research initiatives.
    Demonstrated track record of accomplishments in the field, encompassing publications, conference presentations, contributions to open-source libraries, and more.
    Profound expertise in omics data analysis, including RNAseq, scRNAseq, and similar techniques.
    Proficient user of Python / R programming languages.
    Outstanding collaboration and communication abilities.


    Desirable Qualifications:
    Familiarity with modern code development tools (DevOps experience is a plus)
    Thorough comprehension of contemporary machine learning methodologies and their mathematical foundations, with the capability to translate these into clinical or biological insights for our laboratory-based team
    Proficiency in engineering change control processes and/or software version control (e.g., Git, VSS)
    Enthusiasm for the convergence of data, biology, and clinical applications.
