Description
InterDigital develops fundamental wireless technologies that are at the core of mobile devices, networks, and services worldwide.The role associated to this position is to contribute to the design and standardization of advanced radio techniques for future 3GPP wireless technologies, including the evolution of 5G-Advanced New Radio (NR) and 6G.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated skills for research on novel applications of machine learning techniques and other artificial intelligence technologies with a high interest for its applications to signal processing, wireless communications, and radio access systems.
The candidate will join our 3GPP RAN AI/ML team and contribute in solving challenging problems related to future wireless systems centered around AI/ML applications in the physical radio layer, design of AI-driven mobility optimizations as well as applications of AI/ML to other various wireless techniques.
By carrying out research on fundamental and/or applied AI/ML techniques when applied to the physical radio layer for the evolution of 5G-Advanced radio technologies, and for 6G and beyond ;D. with 0-5 years of relevant experience in the field of machine learning with theoretical understanding of various training methods + neutral networks
In-depth knowledge in one or more of the following areas: machine learning, deep learning, data mining, optimization
Experience with design or use of machine learning/deep learning (ML/DL) artificial intelligence (AI) training to improve wireless air interface and system performance is an advantage
Experience with GitHub/GitLab, NS-3, C/C++ and Python is an advantage
