We are recruiting our next Product & Technical Services Assistant Manager
Within our international hospitality group, you will report to the PTS Europe Manager and work directly in our 3, 4 and 5 star properties.
Your mission is twofold:
you manage numerous PTS projects and advise your contacts on all technical aspects
Being a PTS Assistant Manager entails...
1\. Project Management
- During feasibility study phase, work with appointed consultants and internal stake holders to understand technical risks and propose solutions to facilitate project approval.
- Work with internal stakeholders to develop project timeline and budget.
- Assist in the solving of design problems as they arise before, during and after construction. Engage all relevant parties promptly to ensure timely decision making.
- Plan meetings, agendas, site visits, and program deliverables. Depending on the nature of project, oversee construction site activities and/or manage external project management consultants.
- Provide periodic update to stakeholders, highlighting key findings, dates, and risks that will affect the project's operational success.
- Carry out financial management of the construction/renovation projects
- Carry out quality management of works (site inspection visits, defect inspection visits )
- Carry out timelines monitoring of the construction/renovation projects
- Monitoring construction/renovation project from preliminary studies to handover
- Provide operator's technical advisory services in relation architecture, engineering, interior design & project management during planning and design phases.
- Review and approve architectural, interior design and engineering designs to ensure they meet brand design and operational standards.
- Provide technical assistance to the Business Development team during feasibility study stage.
- Monitoring construction/renovation project from preliminary studies to handover
- Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Project Management, or related fields.
- 3 to 5 years experience in hospitality design & project management.
- Good communication, presentation, written and public speaking skills.
- Fluency in French & English, both verbal & written. Ability to speak German or Spanish is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and AutoCAD and a good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and/or Sketchup is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Green Certification requirements (BREEAM, EDGE, HQE etc.) is advantageous.
- Ability to travel on a regular basis.
