What You'll Do:


Criteo is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join the EMEA Enterprise Team as a Managing Director, France.

In this role you will be accountable for commercial partnerships with key customers across the region, identifying opportunities for growth across new and existing products that enable portfolio expansion.

Your role will also require you to work as part of the EMEA leadership team and manage and lead the operating teams within your market.

In 2024, our evolve the French team to meet the changing and more complex needs of Criteo's Enterprise customers.

As a leader, you will focus on developing our relationships with retailers and advertisers to enable Criteo to deliver a growth agenda across a variety of commerce media products including onsite retail media, performance media, offsite, instore and other media activations.

You will bring your commercial and leadership expertise to brands, agencies and retailer relationships, with attention to developing best practice and excellence in our account management that can be replicated across the region.


You will have a proven track record of delivering revenue growth by leading teams of people and you will have experience working with clients to identify and respond to evolving needs.

You must be comfortable working cross-functionally and have experience with strategic leadership, with the ability to drive sales excellence and operational aptitude whilst improving operating models.


Reporting into the MD Enterprise EMEA, you will manage managers and teams working with retailers, brands and agencies with a strong focus on business development, account strategy and customer relationship management.

Your ability to inspire others, influence, communicate, and manage change across cross-functional partners at all levels of management is essential.


Your Role:

  • Lead and oversee daily operations for the Enterprise commercial teams in within your market.
  • Prepare and implement a business plan to meet business requirements, expanding market impact and run costeffective operations and market development activities. Develop and execute a strategy designed to build and grow the business by expanding existing retail partnerships and introducing new partners.
  • Lead the demandside agency and brand teams, including new business and account strategy teams, and sales support.
  • Establish and service senior relationships with the market, retailers, brands and agencies to influence strategy, including supporting the teams by participating in key meetings.
  • Develop the retailer portfolio in conjunction with the new business team and build revenue by focusing on existing partner growth opportunities to expand partnerships with our existing retailers.
  • Ensure the team can reach financial targets. You hold responsibility for reporting, forecasting, building, and implementing processes.
  • Lead your team to ensure a high level of customer retention and connection. You will implement tangible and concrete actions to improve customer satisfaction among the customers that we work with.
  • Develop a culture of customercentricity across all teams, evolving our working processes and capabilities in line with expectation.
  • Partner effectively with a broad range of internal teams (Marketing, Legal, Account Management, Technical Solutions, Creatives and Product) to enable your sales and partnership efforts.
  • Coordinate the development of key performance goals for all functions and direct reports and lead the development of tactical programs to pursue targeted goals and objectives
  • Engage strategically with key clients and represent Criteo within your market. Foster an understanding of retail media and commerce media across the business unit to position the company as leaders in the space.
  • Provide consistent and clear communication to the regional team on client and Criteo expectations
  • Lead and support all hiring and talent development programs
  • Provide regular feedback on opportunities for improvement on where Criteo can be doing better and oversee the required improvements
  • Represent your region in crossregional Leadership meetings.

Who You Are:


  • Commercial leadership and general management mentality
  • Proven experience in retail or working with retailers within AdTech, Martech or similar
  • Influential connections and relationships within the retail industry, and with major agencies and brands
  • Very strong senior leadership skills, with a proven track record of leading high performing sales and account management teams, including leading managers
  • Strong track record of leading, motivating, recruiting, and retaining a large sales organization
  • Proven performance of consistently delivering business results in a high growth environment
  • Clientside sales and account strategy experience
  • Proven track record of prospecting and signing multimillion deals
  • Deep knowledge of advertising agencies, both on a holding compan
