- Direct the activities related to market access for EMENA
- Lead, develop and support the European GAMA team to successfully implement national market access plans to support value-based pricing and reimbursement
- Define with other functions (Medical and Scientific Affairs, marketing local or global, Public Affairs) strategic objectives and develop a market access action plan strategy
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders and executive management to foster Cepheid's market access leadership in the industry
- Conduct primary research with payers and KOLs
- Support internal & external communication or training material regarding market access issues
- Bachelor's/Master's degree with a minimum 15 years of experience in Market Access
- At least 4 years experience in managing people
- Extensive knowledge of reimbursement and funding processes for diagnostic medical products in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and UK
- Excellent management skills and an authentic desire to nurture and grow an international team
- Masters spoken and written English (fluency in other European languages is a plus)
- Working knowledge of biological processes and/or diagnostic testing is a plus
