Overview of the Department/Section

  • Global Corporate Sales Division executes FX transaction for Large European Corporate.
  • The desk is split into 3 core axes as FraBeLux, Germany, UK.
  • Each of these desks is staffed by one Director and one VP or below. FraBeLux is a critical Region for the Bank and therefore having a strong team in place is KEY.
  • Last year production in this Region was over $10,000,000 our ambition is to continue to consolidate and develop this strategic portfolio

Main Purpose of the Role

  • Work alongside Matthieu Gloux and Julie Ellert to develop Foreign Exchange business in France, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
  • Act as primary or secondary point of contact with corporates for all foreign exchange related topics.
  • Drawing on internal and external sources to expand, promote and position Bank FX capabilities within the context of the broader client relationship, to maximize crosssell opportunities and ensure optimal delivery of the group's products and services in the market place.
  • Operate in line with regulatory constraints and internal rules, regulations and policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate directly with corporate clients to promote FX and derivatives products in order to achieve quantitative and qualitative targets, both individual and at team level.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and the Bank's relationship management team to maximize crosssell opportunities on all facets of the clients' crossborder exposure
  • Adhere to external regulatory frameworks and internal bank policy in respect to all processes and administration.
  • Generate and distribute market information relevant to our corporate and institutional clients' activity and interests
  • Ensure successful collaboration within the Treasury Sales and Trading team to achieve personal and group targets.


Assist other departments (Back-Office, Middle-Office, Risk Management) in operational issues by acting as first point of contact for Treasury processes.

Previous experience in FX, FX risk Management, sales experiences


Skills and Experience

Functional / Technical Competencies:


  • Good knowledge of operational workflows in Forex, Money Market and Derivative products, as well as execution skills with both customers and interbank dealers.
  • Knowledge and technique of the treasury front systems, Etrade platform and market information vendor systems including Reuters and Bloomberg terminals.
  • Broader knowledge of financial markets including Forex, Bond, Swap Equity, Commodity markets, economic statistics and monetary policy framework in major central banks
  • PC skills: Windows, MS Excel (advanced skill preferred), MS Power Point, MS Word
  • Strong financial knowledge, dataprocessing
  • Willingness to understand MUFG strategies, regulations and manuals
  • Able to formulate own business area plans and strategy taking into account the wider business unit strategies and requirements.
  • Proactively develops and maintains relationships with a wide range of keys contacts in various areas of MUFG.
  • Also an uptodate understanding, of the wider financial services industry, regulatory changes and pertinent economic and political factors which may impact on MUFG transaction banking business.
  • Strong interpersonal, networking and communication skills.
  • Verbal and written communication skills in French and English are essential.

Education / Qualifications:

Degree educated in a technical/ numerate field ideally and/or equivalent level of relevant experience
