Join us as the lead Finance resource in a Large Market, providing financial input, guidance, and challenge to shape the business strategies and develop the operational plans for France.

This is a critical and high-profile position within one of the leading French Marketing Company businesses.

You will support Anne Laure Dreno, Company President, as an active business partner and advisor in commercial decision-making, ensuring a robust control infrastructure and improved cost management.

Accountabilities:


As CFO France, you will be a strategic, commercial, operational and financial partner to the President of AstraZeneca France and the French leadership Team.

You will drive an ambitious and profitable growth-focused agenda, lead all processes related to planning, reporting and communications with AstraZeneca EUCAN and Global, and build a diverse, engaged team of professionals within the Finance function.

You will also provide oversight and guidance to the global Logistics/Trade relations team ensuring effective processes are in place to meet the needs of the business.


Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Experience as a senior financial executive in a substantial multinational with geographic scope and complexity. Previous CFO/Senior Executive experience strongly preferred
  • Leadership experience across a broad range of finance functional areas, including accounting and controls, financial planning and analysis and financial reporting
  • Able to build a strategic longterm agenda and get results including financial planning & analysis experience
  • Track record of achieving results in a complex matrix organization; can build alignment and improve team cohesion
  • Strong technical and operational finance skills across commercial, supply chain, corporate development and business development; accounting qualification is an asset
  • Experience with operational / commercial and functional change management skills, with experience driving a growth agenda, while operating in a responsible cost environment
  • Ability to mentor, empower, and improve the professional development of Finance, Tax, and Logistics/Trade relations employees
  • Excellent organizational and influencing skills
  • Highly motivational and creative, and will inspire creativity and innovation from their team
  • Ability to continuously demonstrate AstraZeneca's core values
  • Biopharmaceutical experience is preferred

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in business development and M&A is advantageous
  • Experience in the Logistics/Trade Relations space is desirable
  • International experience and/or geographic mobility is also desirable
