    The Experience team is responsible for designing and delivering exceptional user experiences across all digital touchpoints.

    This includes conducting research, producing relevant Experience artifacts (personas, experience maps, customer journeys, etc.) to design functional and simple interfaces, testing them, and iterating to ensure they meet user challenges and defined business objectives.

    The Experience team works closely with clients to understand their goals, history, users, and then creates innovative, intuitive, and efficient digital experiences.

    All this work is supported by five pillars of expertise:

    CX & Innovation, Research & Insights, Experience Design, Content Design & Design Operations (approximately 40 employees in France - including 20 under your responsibility).

    SONEPARThoroughly transform clients' businesses and services as well as their processes (+10M€/year, different streams, teams ranging from 100 to 250 collaborators) with long-term durations ranging from 18 months to 5+ years.


    Establish methodological best practices on experience management and ensure its integration with other SPEED capabilities (Strategy, Product, Experience, Engineering, Data) while influencing part of the strategy and governance.

    Conception from scratch / redesign of digital products / services.

    Project management and governance involving all experience professions: Service Design / Research / UX / UI

    Innovation in products and services (Lean Start-up) - Ex:

    RENAULTMedium-scale (+3M€, +/- 20/50 people) and medium-term projects (+1 year).


    Designing a digital product or service, innovation topics for our clients: creation of a new product/service, in addition to their main activity.

    Creating a service from scratch, its identity, and its business plan.


    The Role:

    Reporting to the VP Experience France, the Design Director (Sr.) will work closely with the Experience team in France and Internationally (Experience Leadership Team) as well as with the Publicis Sapient France management and other entities within the Publicis group.

    Your role is crucial for guiding and supervising design efforts within our team upstream and downstream of projects:

    Team Leadership and Management :
    You oversee a team of designers. This includes recruitment, training, performance management, and career development.

    Design and Strategy :
    You participate in shaping the vision and design strategy of PS France. You align design goals with overall business objectives.

    Project Management :
    You manage design projects from inception to implementation, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and quality requirements.

    Collaboration :

    You work closely with other SPEED capabilities (France and International) to ensure seamless integration of design throughout the organization, as well as with other entities of Publicis and the Power of One.


    Design and Innovation :

    You are responsible for creating and guiding aesthetic, intelligent, and functional concepts ensuring they meet user needs while aligning with our clients' brand and business goals.

    From initial sketches to HD prototypes to atomic design systems.

    Competitive Analysis and Trends :

    You stay abreast of emerging design and technology trends, as well as industry best practices, to maintain our team's competitiveness.


    Client Management :

    You interact with clients to understand their needs and expectations and serve as the primary point of contact for client relationship management in design matters.


    Evaluation and Iteration :

    You oversee the evaluation of existing designs and guide iterations to continuously improve the user experience and achieve defined experience and business goals.


    Design Standards, Quality, and Accessibility : You establish and maintain high design standards to ensure consistency, accessibility, and quality across all products and services we design.


    Effective Communication :

    You effectively communicate design vision, goals, and progress to the team, management, and other stakeholders particularly in project sales phases.


    Visibility :

    Promote the position of Experience Design within SPEED teams, ensuring that this expertise is fully integrated and valued, both in France and internationally.

    You will be responsible for linking French expertise to international initiatives.
