Our Team


Following the announcement in December 2019 of the creation of a standalone Global Business Unit, Sanofi's Consumer Healthcare ("CHC") has grown into a leading consumer healthcare platform with a presence in 150 countries and over 11,000 employees, dedicated resources in R&D, manufacturing, information technology as well as its distinct sustainability roadmap.

In Q3 2023, Sanofi announced its intention to separate the CHC Business as it increases its focus on innovative medicines and vaccines.

The intended separation will seek to create two entities, each better equipped to pursue its own business strategy, resourcing and capital allocation and enabling each to focus on long-term growth in its respective markets.

Sanofi believes that the separation will unlock further opportunities for CHC to leverage its portfolio of leading brands and continue to drive growth and shareholder value.


The Global People success function encompass all the vital elements of CHC's people strategy, including talent acquisition & talent management, cultural enhancement & communication, development & learning initiatives, and diversity & inclusion, thereby centralizing the focus on the holistic success and growth of our people for CHC globally.


The Global Learning and Development Head will transform the learning environment in CHC establishing a standalone learning operating model and learning culture that supports a self-developing mindset and shared learning directed toward our mission and vision.


He/She collaborates with the business and People & Culture community to assess people development opportunities and gaps associated with the future capability needs to identify relevant, sustainable learning solutions for all CHC employees including Executives.


The Global Head of L&D defines L&D frameworks, KPIs, budget, platforms and mandatory guidelines at Group level, to be leveraged by learning institutes and development teams.


Main responsibilities:


  • Take end to end accountability for the preparation and leadership of the implementation of the future learning operating model for CHC.
  • Manage the key business stakeholders to ensure the alignment of the model with the strategic vision of CHC, whilst considering financial, functional, and commercial goals and aspirations.
  • Drive the conversation with Sanofi to design in detail what services are to be taken over by CHC, and those maintained under service agreements.
  • Participate in the consultation with, and selection of, potential vendors/third parties, capable of managing all outsourced activities.
  • Transfer and translate the current offer and consider external partnerships or internal program creation to meet CHC ambition.
  • Contribute to the design of global and local programs to underpin the needs of the business both currently and in the future.
  • In partnership with other team members, shape ongoing training options to support an inclusive and diverse environment (D&I, sustainability).
  • Design a fitforfuture leadership competency framework and leadership curriculum and coaching framework for CHC.
  • Design progressive, companywide, coaching frameworks and mentoring programs to support development opportunities.
  • From a bestinclass perspective, define and recommend the required HR Services to drive the learning roadmap.
  • Articulate appropriate metrics to measure all relevant aspects of learning to provide updates to the key stakeholders on individual and business benefit.
