Description

Corin is seeking a Software Engineer to develop, integrate, and test the next generation of our Apollo Hip and Knee Application Software while complying with medical device quality and regulatory standards globally.

You will be part of the global R&D technology team, based in Grenoble, France.


The key responsibilities of the Software Engineer will be to:

  • Develop and integrate Software systems for preoperative planning, intra-operative guidance, and postoperative follow-up throughout the Software lifecycle.
  • Contribute to product technical files, including product requirements and design outputs, verification and validation plans, and risk assessment of the product and production process as applicable.
  • Ensure high code quality through automated and rigorous unit tests, code reviews, and adhering to Corin's coding standards.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and routine standups.
  • Work with crossfunctional teams, marketing, hardware engineering, and contractors across the globe to ensure highquality product delivery and maintenance for Corin customers.
  • Support Software QA, and verification and validation activities to ensure system quality, functionality, and performance.
  • Internalize and follow all proper procedures to ensure compliance of Software components, development processes, and documentation with applicable regulations and safety standards (ISO 13485, IEC 62304 and U.S Title 21 CFR 820).

The Ideal Software Engineer will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science (or comparable discipline).
  • 3 years of programming experience with C++ and Python.
  • Experience with Software unit and integration testing.
  • Good understanding of Object-Oriented Software design and development principles.
  • Experience with version control systems and bugtracking tools.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and problemsolving skills, and the ability to work effectively with a global team.
  • Strong selfmotivation and professional pride in your work product
  • Previous work experience in a medical device or healthcare environment
  • Experience with image processing, geometry processing, and data visualization (algorithmic/academic or practical/applied)
  • Knowledge of datadriven analysis and modeling methods (e.g. statistical methods, reinforcement learning)
