Who we are
Our team contributions will focus on inventing, designing, building, testing & fine tuning innovative robotic and automation solutions to be installed on Airbus shop floors to manufacture aerospace parts.
We will be a fundamental part of Airbus Robotics and Automation function, but also work and collaborate with a transversal team across functions to design and develop prototypes & demonstrators and to industrialize products.
What will be your part in the team
In this technical role you will be at the heart of developing innovative technology within a technical specialists team.
You will be representing the Solution Integration team (OMIRI)Â in front of internal customers (Plant, A/C and R&T Programs, Quality ) and external stakeholders (i.e.
suppliers).
Your main mission will be to design, develop and integrate automation solutions to answer to the plants industrial systems needs on automated parts positioning and rigging.
You will technically lead and develop solutions, firstly focus on Nose Fuselage activities (Montoir plant) and act as technical reference.
ÂYour main tasks and responsibilities will include:
Development of innovative automated aircraft parts positioning and rigging solutions
Design and integration of prototypes & demonstrators feeding industrial automated rigging systems
Develop and analyze technical solutions to address the plant and CORAC project needs on automated parts positioning and riggingÂ
Technical development responsible for automated J&T and rigging (projects, robotic techno bricks, E2E solutions) in line with customers needs
Validate system assumptions and functionality under Airbus product integrity standards.
Mature the technology from R&T to a robust level to enable deployment into the industrial environment
Degree in robotics, automation, electrical or mechanical engineering, mechatronics, metrology or a related field of studies
Good knowledge and proven experience in robotics and automation:
Automation Engineering - able to analyze, execute and simulate automation solutions. Designs, develops and implements complex kinematics (i.e. robots) to perform automation tasks.
System Engineering - system architect capable of managing all systems, infrastructure and interconnection of the robotic production system.
Skills in software, systems and enterprise architecture, software and hardware engineering, interface protocols, and general problem solving skills.
Programming experience for PLC, station control, sensor integration, motion control systems, navigation systems and path planner etc. would be a plus
An advanced level of English and French is needed
