More about the role and team*The IT Support Administrator will provide assistance for support and monitoring of IT hardware, software, and services supporting our internal end users.

This role will be the primary local IT support for our Paris office and assist with remote support of other users in the same time zone.

This position will be responsible for occasional after-hours maintenance activities and will participate in on-call hours, as part of the team rotation.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative international team.

What skills and experience do I need to succeed?

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • Two or more years of experience with emphasis on IT Service Desk support in both large and small environments.
  • International business and financial/investment services industry experience is desirable.
  • Configuration and support of Microsoft desktop operating systems
  • Configuration and support of end user devices, laptops, monitors, mobiles, etc.
  • Intermediate understanding of Office 365, OneDrive, and Intune
  • Intermediate understanding of Microsoft server operating systems
  • Intermediate understanding of Active Directory and user management
  • Basic Linux administration skills
  • Solid experience with collaboration tools (Slack, teams, etc.), client VPNs, Windows firewall, Antivirus, Bitlocker and conferencing software (Zoom, WebEx, etc.)
  • Experience imaging and deploying laptops in an enterprise environment
  • Strong administration and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with basic networking and level one troubleshooting (ping, tracert, telnet, etc.)
  • Experience with basic Linux system administration
  • Experience with basic AWS administration and user management
  • Understanding the basic concepts of Risk Management, Business Continuity, and Incident Response
  • Good selfdiscipline with the ability to work autonomously
  • Good communication, interpersonal, organizational, and planning skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Able to prioritize tasks (efficient time management) to meet deadlines
  • Accept escalations from junior staff members
  • Work well with others as an individual contributor
  • Full English proficiency
