Established in 1999 as a community of global cities sharing a common economic and cultural asset - their connection to internationally renowned wine regions - the Great Wine Capitals Global Network brings diverse global capitals of wine together under a shared brand.

The Network facilitates the sharing of knowledge, ideas & experience; stimulates business, innovation & friendships; & is a means to collaborate on challenges & opportunities.

This network, which extends to 11 different countries, allows companies from member cities to participate in business meetings, international events, participate in exploratory missions, and to be represented in the major international organizations of tourism and wine.

The Secretariat of the network is based at the CCI Bordeaux Gironde, and we invite you to join us on a coordination mission, in support of the international teams of the Network

Your missions
As the international network coordinator, we will entrust you to:

Support the 11 Local Coordinators in each GWC, located in France, Australia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Argentina, Portugal, United States, Chile, and Italy, by networking and listening to their needs
Remind the members the various activities' deadlines
Identify all the activities carried out on behalf of GWC in the member cities and promote them
Organize online meetings between members (videoconferences, webinars, etc.), in plenary or in working groups, by coordinating everyone's agendas and availability
Ensure compliance with the Graphic Charter of the Network in all member cities' communication
Ensure the good visibility of the website by working on the SEO
Benchmark and monitor wine tourism resources worldwide to create content and share it with the members' repository and / or social media watch on the wine tourism theme,
Help organize physical meetings of the network during General or Intermediate Assemblies, Conferences, exploratory missions, etc. in terms of logistics, promotion and budget monitoring
Support the Permanent Secretary in redacting reports, minutes or other administrative tasks

Your profile

Passionate about wine and tourism, this mission will connect you with other enthusiasts, at the heart of different cultures all around the world.

Beyond your international culture, you master English language (speaking and writing) as a native and you are also fluent in Spanish.

As a person, you like to exchange and bring people together, by creating links and interactions.

Flexible and adaptable, you will also be able to show initiative and be proactive.

About the internship

Place of work:
Bordeaux, at the headquarter of the Permanent Secretariat

6-month internship, starting in January 2023 (Convention / Partnership agreement with your school / university compulsory)

French legal compensation (including possible restaurant coupons and participation in public transportation fees).
