Who we are looking for:

We are seeking a Protocol Researcher who can engage in all aspects of protocol development, from ideation to implementation.


Location:

This job requires being at the office every weeks, however we are flexible and you can work remotely from time to time.

Our office is located in Paris, France


Mission & Responsibilities:


Your main tasks will include:

Designing Protocols:

• Conducting comprehensive "literature" reviews.
• Researching design ideas on markets, liquidations, oracles, etc.
• Reviewing team's research efforts.

Implementing Protocols:

• Researching implementation ideas (algorithms, data structures ).
• Developing the code of the protocol, primarily in Solidity, with the ability to learn other languages as needed.
• Conducting thorough testing, and potentially formal verification.

Must-have Experience & Skills**:

• Research background, either in academia (PhD) or in a company setting.
• Strong computer science background with experience in designing and implementing complex systems.
• Proficient programmer with professionallevel software development skills.
• Excellent abstraction capacity, able to quickly grasp complex mechanisms.
• Creativity in providing solutions and challenging designs.
• Strong theoretical understanding coupled with practical sensibility.
• Fluent in French and able to work inperson in Paris a few times a week.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Critical thinking and ability to provide constructive feedback.
• Autonomy in managing tasks and projects.
