DHL SUPPLY CHAIN France (2,000 employees) is recruiting a
Senior IT
Project Manager to strengthen its Healthcare/Life sciences activity to support the implementation of IT strategic project management.

Reporting to the IT Director, you will responsible for managing IT projects or the IT part of business projects and for delivering the agreed scope in the agreed time, in the agreed quality, and at the agreed costs, as well as for ensuring that IT provides optimal support the business in the best possible way.

Your tasks:

Support the implementation of strategic project management initiatives
Lead the overall planning, control, status reporting, stability and delivery of part of a work stream of a large project / a small project (single area or product) to ensure that project goals and objectives are met within agreed upon time, scope, budget and resource requirements
Identify and control the issues on the project, drive resolution of issues for a satisfactory outcome and escalate issues as appropriate
Identify and control the scope of the project. Document scope changes and gain approval by required parties to ensure benefit realization
Control the budget of the project and escalate all spending issues
Report project progress to all stakeholders in accordance with a well structured communications plan and ensure all communication is tailored to stakeholder needs
Ensure the health of the project, identify project risks and mitigation plans and ensure these risks are proactively communicated
Responsible for implementing the DePICT project management methodology and risk management process
Ensure that all required project documentation is completed to quality standards, kept upto date,
Review project performance against the business cases and implement action plans to ensure benefit realization
Support identifying the project resource, roles and responsibilities, SME's required to deliver the business benefits
Motivate the project team to accomplish the tasks as outlined, manage change and deliver business benefits

Position based in :

La Plaine Saint Denis (Head Office) - Travel is to be expected in France and during project deployments: 2 days every week.

Required profile:

You are a graduate of a Bac +5 university education, a business or engineering school. You have at least
8/10 years of experience in project management, whether within CIOs or complex organizations. You know how to speak with the business as well as with IT. You master the keeping of reporting, associated KPIs and you know how to analyze them. You have good interpersonal skills and know how to adapt your communication to all situations

You are comfortable with computer tools (office pack, etc.). To work in our international environment, you are fluent in English.
