Role :

As a Senior Accountant, reporting to the Finance Manager, you will manage the accounting and reporting for two of our European subsidiaries.

You will ensure that local financial statements comply with both local accounting standards and US GAAP.


Main Responsibilities:


Accounting and Financial Reporting

  • Supervise and coordinate the accounting activities of two European subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with closing schedules, including the production of journal entries for monthly and annual closings.
  • Ensure compliance of accounts with local and international standards, as well as fiscal declarations for each entity with the help of consultants.
  • Prepare closing reports and continuously improve processes in collaboration with other support functions within the Group.
  • Support business teams in managing and controlling their activities.
  • Plan and manage cash flow.

Internal Control

  • Implement and maintain an effective internal control system.
  • Identify and resolve accounting and financial issues.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors.

Process Improvement

  • Join our global initiative to make our Finance Team a lean and agile organization through project involvement or by developing areas of expertise.
  • Participate in international crossfunctional projects.

Requirements:


  • One or more of the following backgrounds: ACA/ACCA/CIMAqualified or equivalent financial accounting studies
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in an international group with varied standards.
  • Fluent English is mandatory; another language is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel and an ERP (Oracle, SAP, etc.).
  • Knowledge of a reporting tool (ideally PowerBI) is a plus.
  • Experience managing offshore teams is a plus.
  • Experience in tax (transfer pricing, corporate income tax) is a plus
