Position Summary
The position reports directly to the Business Unit Manager, and indirectly to the Division Lean Manager.

Ensures full Parker Lean System education and implementation in all functional areas at the plant or facility level to ensure consistency and sustainability.

Ensures the development of a robust Lean Future State Strategy to be implemented at the site (tugger, material flow, etc.).

Provides Lean leadership and direction to the Site Team.

Responsibilities

Guides all Lean initiatives at the facility. Works with Site leadership on Lean implementation using Parker Lean Systems (PLS) as the principal tool.

Ensures adherence to PLS standards for the Site and Team Improvement Boards, enabling a PDCA culture and progression of the Lean Journey.

Provides high level of technical and operational recommendations in meeting productivity, material control, product quality, and customer service goals.
Ensures that the site organizational structure has been reviewed and that resources are aligned for the Lean Transformation.
Ensures on-going education of all employees at the site in PLS. -Communicates the status of all Lean efforts to the Division Lean Manager.

Provides documentation of results and benefits achieved to the Division Staff as reported through Parker's Lean Assessments and Win scorecard.

-Shares "best practice" methods and ideas with Division Lean Manager.
