Position Summary

JOB PURPOSE


This position has a central role for the Location Sourcing & Divisional Category Management which aim to lead & support all procurement activities (Strategic purchasing and supplier management) with systems, processes & procedures improvements plus Suppliers contractual requirements & alignment.

The position is establishing and maintaining efficiency within the Strategic Sourcing and whole Supply Chain, as well as compliance with regulatory bodies and best practices standards.


JOB ACTIVITIES

  • Delivers PPI/deflation plan & execution
  • Actively engage suppliers with continuous improvement idea generation and implementation (PCI)
  • Use Problem Solving techniques to identify priority areas for improvement and implementation of best practice within the whole Supply chain
  • Work with suppliers and key stakeholders to ensure best price and delivery
  • Maintain Supplier Agreements, ensuring suppliers meet their obligations of the NPA
  • Etablish with Divsional Strategic Sourcing Manager purchasing strategies by commodity (Preferred, Sustain and exit Tail end suppliers)
  • Lead as a "Lead buyer" for biggest categories and organize and execute negotiations if needed within whole MSG
  • Ensures that new parts are introduced in a structure, quality and timely way
  • Qualify new suppliers in line with Quality procedures and location Quality Manager
  • Develop action plans to support prioritized projects.
  • Develop Standard Work for Sourcing activities
  • Identify new or develop existing suppliers depending on Parker process requirements for key customers or products.

Relevant metrics/ objectives in role includes:
Improvement in supplier LISC, DSI, WADPO, PPI, Costs,


SKILLS AND PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE

  • Min. 6 years of experiences and significant knowledge within Supply Chain (Procurement, Strategic Sourcing etc.)
  • Project Management: ability to prioritize activities, schedule interactions, motivate other to completion and adapt the unfrozen circumstances
  • Negotiation: can effectively negotiate with both external and internal stakeholders to find best value solutions and implement Total Value of Performance Model
  • Relationship Building/Networking: able to quickly gain trust and credibility with internal and external stakeholders
  • Communications: effectively and persuasively communicates at all levels of the organization and with external partners
  • Completed academic degree program (engineering management, technical or business administration) preferred or commercial or technical apprenticeship with additional qualification in the field of Procurement/ Supply Chain
