The tax manager will have to ensure compliance with the appropriate tax laws on the EMEA territories and to monitor / anticipate the current and impending changes to tax regulations.


Working closely with Global Tax Team, Logistics Sr Manager and Finance & Operations Senior Director, our tax manager will serve as business advisor to the internal clients and aim at maximizing engagement and achieving qualitative outcomes.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with tax legislation and rules, accounting policies and procedures
  • Facilitate and manage the preparation and review of all tax forms
  • Find and implement opportunities for process improvements in the company tax procedures
  • Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of tax processes
  • Manage and facilitate the tax audits
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments
  • Provide support on all tax related projects
  • Identify and mitigate tax risks

Profile:


Requirements & Skills

  • Education in Economic and Tax or Tax Law
  • Extensive individual / corporate tax knowledge
  • Written and oral communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of tax codes across all the countries in Continental Europe
  • Curiosity and willingness to develop other countries tax knowledge
  • Ability to work well independently as well as ability to work well with different stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
