Role Overview
The Junior Electronics / Equipment (E/E) Diagnostics Technician is an integral part of our Service team, responsible for providing first-class troubleshooting, diagnostics and repair for our electric vehicles.
This position requires a high-quality Education with a solid background and hands-on experience in electric vehicle E/E, diagnostics, programming/coding and repair.

Responsibilities:
- Performs vehicle diagnostics, "Fix IT Right the First Time" repairs, and manual and overtheair software updates, programming/coding ECU's, at a Fisker workshop and/or Port of Entry.
- Avoid repeat repairs and repurchase cases by understanding customer complaints and following proper service procedures to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Assist in the preparation and validation of detailed diagnostic and repair manuals, service bulletins, technical and parts information, customer service and owner communications, etc.
- Immediately identify and report complex electronic/software problems encountered in the field.
- Assist Mobile and Master Technicians in low service capacity situations to ensure optimal customer service and quick repair times
- Assist in root cause analysis, identification of new trends, troubleshooting and preparation of appropriate reports.
- ECU troubleshooting, CAN/LIN/i/Body Bus, LVDS, etc.
Basic qualifications / knowledge / experience- Apprenticeship completed or completed higher technical education as a Mechatronic, Electronic, Electric (HTL, Fachschule, BOS, FH)- Deep interest and understanding in the above-mentioned area of responsibility.- Certification to work on high-voltage systems is an advantage- Experience with battery electric vehicles and good knowledge in handling diagnostic equipment, programming/coding/flashing ECU's is an advantage- Knowledge of ECU troubleshooting, CAN/LIN/i/Body Bus, LVDS, etc.
