Our Genetic Sciences Division is actively seeking a
Senior Genetic Analysis Sales Representative

Territory:


The role of the Sr Genetic Analysis Sales representative is to drive the Sanger sequencing, digital PCR and real-time PCR business including both instruments and consumables.


The role holder will use his/her knowledge of the business and external context to commit to and deliver profitable initiatives that build sales.


The senior sales representative takes responsibility within the team to share best practices and develop him/herself with the help of the manager and experienced team members.


Major Responsabilities:


  • Achieve the agreed objectives.
  • Develop Thermofisher Scientific instrument installed base within the sales territory (Capillary Electrophoresis, dPCR and qPCR).
  • Drive the growth of the related consumable business.
  • Actively prospect for new business and new customers.
  • Develop a Territory Plan and implement the corresponding action plan in coordination with Sales Manager.
  • Work together with local sales colleagues to leverage the scale of the company and secure business in competitive situations.
  • Commit to Business Excellence and corporate compliance

Qualifications / Experience

  • Academic degree in scientific disciplines, ideally life sciences.
  • Professional expertise in lab instrumentation and molecular biology.
  • Relevant technical and scientific background.
  • Experience in sales will be a plus
