THE ROLE:


You will be responsible for analysing, reviewing, negotiating and drafting volume contracts with Head Office Key Accounts teams as well as the Group's lines, agencies and Regional Offices.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

First of all, you must inform the Global Accounts teams of the legal risks as a preventive measure. Then, you assist and advise them in the negotiation of commercial contracts on the legal aspects.


You will work in close collaboration with various departments of the Group (Credit Management, Insurance, Security/Safety,...) to ensure good communication on matters relating to commercial contracts.


You will closely monitor legal developments, international and governmental regulations likely to have an impact on the Group's activities and you will inform the commercial teams in order to adapt the contracts and alert them to the risks inherent in these developments.


PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS:


You have a postgraduate degree (+ 5 years) in Law, and you have at least a 2-year experience in a similar field.

You have a good command of maritime transport rules and knowledge of maritime litigation. You have knowledge of contractual matters and good writing skills.


Your English is fluent both orally and in writing, and you have a good command of office and IT tools.


You will have good interpersonal skills and be able to work with all the Group's departments and numerous external contacts (the Group's main clients).


Your rigour, your responsiveness and you capacity for analysis and synthesis will enable you to ensure at best the Group interests.
