About ICAP:

ICAP, part of TP ICAP group, provides a wide variety of execution and information services to wholesale market participants.

We offer broking services covering a wide range of asset classes, including Commodities, Credit, Equities, FX, Money Market Funds and Rates.

For each asset class, ICAP offers e-trading capability, giving clients the option to enter prices and execute trades directly via one of our hybrid electronic trading systems, or to engage with brokers who can identify and negotiate trades


Role Responsibilities:


  • Promote TP ICAP Group.
  • Maintain and develop existing client relationships and make contact with prospective new clients where appropriate.
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of the products and markets in which you work; actively solicit feedback from industry participants through various means, including trade calls, surveys, industry events, trade shows and conferences.
  • Understand the desk's business strategy and seek to identify new business opportunities relating to trends, future markets, products and clients.
  • Onboard new clients ensuring adherence to process and regulation.
  • Assess client needs and financial conditions to identify internal cross selling opportunities.
  • Understand pertinent regulation within the evolving regulatory landscape.
  • Understand and maintain a culture of risk and compliance and comply with group policies.
  • Exercise independent judgement and act with integrity, care, skill and diligence to avoid conflicts of interest and escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Continued Personal Development as it relates to the role and yourself.
  • Act as a mentor to junior brokers, providing guidance, support, and sharing industry knowledge to foster their professional growth and development.

Experience / Competencies:

Essential

  • Proven and extensive experience within a Financial Services Broker position with a demonstrated book of clients.
  • Excellent knowledge of Rates or Interest Rate Options market and products, including investment strategies, and market dynamics.
  • Effective communicator both verbally and in writing (fluency in English is required).
  • Proficiency in using financial software (Bloomberg is required).
  • Keen interest in both the marco and microeconomics landscape.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and enjoys working in a fastpaced environment.
