This is a leadership role, with overall responsibility of overseeing the overseeing of project management of all projects for a key major account covering sites across the UK, Ireland and Nordics.


With long-term experience as a senior project manager working within a dynamic team, you will have a proven track record of delivering successful projects and nurturing client relationships on a national basis.


Operating within a matrix organisation structure, the Regional Project Director will report directly to the Apleona ITS Director Projects and Head of Project & Construction Management.


A home based role, preferably located within the South East region of the UK, the Regional Project Director will have overall responsibility to oversee the project delivery processes and develop relationships with the clients responsible team members as well as secure project work opportunities across the region within the key account and, potentially with other clients where appropriate.

The Regional Project Director will play a key role in leading and communicating with local Apleona teams in the UK, Ireland and the Nordics, whilst liaising with the regional management structures of the client, and will ensure that the expertise and experience of our organisation is combined with the competence and local knowledge of the teams "on the ground" to meet cultural, site
- and project specific requirements.


The post holder will work closely with internal colleagues and external partners to ensure all of the relevant stakeholder's needs have been considered as part of any business/service reconfiguration and in the development of any new services.

Quality, compliance, commercial awareness, construction management and leadership will be paramount.


The Regional Project Director will, in addition to being directly accessible to the clients real estate representatives, have direct access to our key account resources within the regions and, as and when required, be supported by pre appointed and defined local project managers.

Responsabilités
The roles and responsibilities for the Regional Project Director will be varied and will include, but not be limited to:

  • Overall responsibility for all account specific projects within UK ,Ireland and the Nordics
  • Coordinate and deliver professional, robust and timely project management for all property related projects
  • Organisation, planning, target setting, decisionmaking and coordination of all works aligned with the key accounts management guidelines
  • Commercial account management for all project opportunities across the region
  • Directly steering and managing projects of all sizes in the region
  • Playing a leading role in new business opportunities, tenders etc.
  • Devising and managing account specific project methodology to include: assessments of needs criteria, preparation of feasibility studies, supervision of preliminary, draft and execution planning, cost management, tendering, project monitoring and construction management.
  • Quality control and defects management; testing & commissioning, handover and documentation transfer
  • Own and be responsible for the execution and timely delivery, within budget, and to the agreed quality in full compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.
  • Financial reporting on all projects to the Apleona Senior Management Team, including financial forecasting and evaluation
  • Ensure the development and implementation of professional construction project management policies and procedures, which are fully integrated with Apleona Group's processes and values.
  • Working closely with Apleona ITS Director Projects and the key account management team.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and mandatory requirements and performance during any new construction activities to provide a safe and secure environment for all by adhering to the relevant legislative requirements
  • Contract administration and supervision of contractors to ensure they adhere to all relevant policies, procedures and practices.
Exigences obligatoires

  • Highly experienced project manager (demonstrable extensive experience)
  • Familiar with the mechanics of the various contract models.
  • Knowledgeable on all relevant statutory regulations within the region
  • Shall be comfortable with the use of modern communication tools such as: Box, Slack, Trello, Online Meeting tools, etc.
  • Experience with project management software programmes
  • Understanding technical aspects of interior construction
  • Experience of effective planning and delivery of commercial interiors projects
  • Knowledge of the commercial workplace interiors market and its relevance to professional project delivery
  • Experience of operating in a competitive commercial environment
  • Experience of costing and bidding for corporate workplace project work
  • Experience of preparing quotations and tender documents for interior projects
