To plan, maintain, manage, and control the Supply Chain and Purchasing activities including planning & execution and sales for externally manufactured products. Lead S&OP process for EMO products under area of responsibility.

Main responsibilities / job expectations

Planning of Supply and Sales & Operations Planning Process

  • Create and maintain supply plans to meet service level and stock objectives, considering supplier constraints
  • Design inventory policy for area of responsibility, ensuring alignment with endtoend strategy defined by EMO Relationship Management Director
  • Manage CMO upstream stocks and plans through S&OP process or directly through the supply planning process
  • Validate supply plans through the S&OP process
  • Actively manage short, medium and long term planning both within Ipsen and with external parties
  • Resolve supply challenges either directly or through coordination of cross functional teams
  • Lead S&OP process with partners and/or CMOs focus on action and decisions
  • Lead steps of internal S&OP related to supply review related to scope of products
  • Define and measure Key Performance Indicators and create action plans to improve performance

Internal Service Level Agreement & Supply master data management

  • In line with the Internal Service Level Agreement process, regularly lead review of supply and inventory policies with all Affiliates and external suppliers
  • Responsible for agreeing and maintaining planning parameters in systems including Minimum Order Quantity, Lead times, incremental orders volumes

Product Life Cycle Management

  • For new product, lead supply chain design, implementation, and operational activities for EMO (External Manufacturing Organization) under the guidance of the Supply Chain Product Life Cycle Director
  • Manage and adjust the supply plan and inventory considering regulatory constraints regarding expected variations & artwork change implementation dates by discussing proactively implementation timelines with Country Local Supply Chain, Local Regulatory Affairs, CMOs and Packaging Coordinator
  • Ensure master data accuracy / update in collaboration with Global Supply Chain Master Data Coordinator

Supply Chain Execution

  • Lead purchase order process for EMO products
  • Place procurement orders within systems and seek internal approval and manage the goods receipt process for some EMO products and invoice management along with accounting department
  • Monitor operational performance, identifying risks and issues through this process
  • Resolve supply challenges either directly or through coordination of cross functional teams

Projects / Tech Transfer Activities & change to manufacturing network

  • Lead EMO supply process improvement in collaboration with Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence (Supply Planner is the Subject Matter Expert for EMO Supply processes within Center of Excellence) incl. liaise with key stakeholders to manage and implement changes to the EMO Supply Planning process and system through the Change Advisory Board
  • Where required, provide project leadership and / or support to the Supply-Chain Group as per business needs

Knowledge, abilities & experience

Education / Certifications:

  • Master's degree
  • APICS CPIM certification would be advantageous

Experience:


  • 3/5 years in a similar role in Supply Chain operations with knowledge of planning systems and processes
  • Professional experience in an international and multicultural environment
  • Negotiation and influencing skills through working with External Partners / CMOs

Languages:

  • Fluent English. French is an advantage
