To help Maxeon powering positive change, the Customer Operations Director will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

This role is open to all EMEA / EU countries

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):


General:

Ensure great customer experience while being agile, lean and cost effective

Lead an international team across multiple time zones responsible for managing order fulfilment of large volumes for a diverse product portfolio in the EMEA region

Create, standardize, optimize business processes and tools, compliant with SOX and international trade practices, with KPIs based on data-driven metrics across the entire operations organization

Work directly with products, marketing, sales, sales operations, and aftersales teams to jointly develop tightly coordinated regional operation plans


Provide direction and strategy to implement operational setup for new markets in collaboration with sales and marketing leadership including but not limited to INCOTERMS, warehousing strategy, IT infrastructure, setting up legal and tax entities, etc.

Collaborate with sales, marketing and aftersales teams to educate customers on supply contracts and operational details around product deliveries


Order Management and Customer Care:

Lead an efficient and customer centric order management function from pipeline management to invoicing

Use industry leading tools and measurements to continuously improve customer service and relationships

Directly develop key customer relationships to establish Maxeon as the undisputed premium global solar brand


Planning & Scheduling:

Oversee the regional supply planning function, working with demand & centralized planning teams to ensure appropriate production signals to fulfill orders across several different sales channels

Manage inventory levels in 3PL's warehouse spread across multiple countries, meeting days of supply targets, optimizing the level of inventory to get the best customer service while reducing cost of capital

Ensure available to promise reporting is maintained to a high level of accuracy, enabling an efficient order scheduling process


Logistics and Distribution:

Oversee a cost effective and service focused downstream logistics function within the region, including shipping ex-factory to 3PL's warehouse or direct ship to customers and warehousing and distribution activities

Build a sustainable logistics network, working cross functionally with other regional operations and global logistics team

Develop/Maintain cost reduction roadmap to ensure optimized logistics services

Be accountable for inventory and trade compliance


REQUIREMENTS:

Engineering degree or other related graduate degree in supply chain management, operations, logistics, business administration, transportation, or engineering

5+ years relevant work experience in managing Customer Operations on a Global scale

Strong Leadership skills in a multicultural organization

Highly knowledgeable in E2E Supply Chain Operations

Strong analytical, planning, revenue forecasting and presentation skills with ability to accurately anticipate, identify and meet the needs of diverse customers

Track record of delivering products on time and under budget with high customer satisfaction while balancing operational risk with P&L financials

Track record of negotiating, executing and managing complex master supply agreements and relationships with key accounts

Ability to design and deliver influential presentations

Firm grasp of operations, supply chain, inventory, distribution, logistics, transportation, and business management associated with delivering a high volume of diverse product portfolio across multiple regions

Deep knowledge of international trade and taxes

Attention to detail and proven track record of problem-solving abilities

Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communication skills and a reputation as a team player

Professional fluency in English and at least one EU language

Must be amenable to work on Hybrid set-up
