What you ́ll be doing

As we are a large global company, your network and organization skills will be key to manage tenders.

You will join the dots between different proposals, harvesting the best content and bespoking it to the client with the aim of developing winning and tailored proposals for our clients and prospects.

Being a bid manager at Webhelp is a strategic role as you will be part of the team that wins business for the company.

The bid manager sees the bigger/holistic picture and enables the wider bid team to put our best offer forward.

You will facilitate win themes and strategy discussions to establish points of differentiation while also contributing to and challenging winning strategies.

Managing global tenders that combine solutions from multiple business units and geographies ensures a very diversified and exciting working day.


Here is what your responsibilities look like:

  • Responsible for the end-to-end bid process; from pre bid/ sales stage through to in-life bid management, submission and post bid activities including supporting presentations, site visits and contracting process.
  • Direct the bid through the bid process ensuring team adherence to templates, tools and governance gates, whilst meeting deadlines.
  • Guide and support the creation of effective win strategies and challenge them in partnership with solution architects and business development managers.
  • Set out the process/planning for bids in such a way that it allows the necessary strategy/win theme conversations to take place, so that they are reviewed as well as signed off by the required stakeholders.
  • Assess roles needed in the bid team and onboard colleagues.
  • Manage the bid team in terms of coordinating effort and resources from business development, solutions and further internal departments, as well as any thirdparty suppliers or contractors.
  • Own the governance: Build a bid plan, provide response allocations and timelines to respond.
  • Kick off the effort and manage regular communication, including status and review meetings as well as workshops; Ensure all stakeholders are informed and actions are documented and followed up.
  • Manage and collect clarification questions from the bid team and assess responses.
  • Contribute to both the solution, and the commercial proposals.
  • Facilitate build and design of response template.
  • Full responsibility for the resulting proposal and documents, including the content, design and format as well as the quality assurance of the proposal documentation.
  • Effectively source content from knowledge libraries, relevant presentations, briefing papers, credentials, capability documents, case studies etc.
  • Support content development and audit the team's contributions to deliver a complete and winning response, accurately promoting the wide range of services offered by Webhelp.
  • Assist in the management, development and improvement of Webhelp's knowledge libraries to build and share knowledge as well as to support winning new business and retaining and growing existing clients.
What we ́re looking for

  • A winning mentality.
  • Knowledge of contact centre BPO industry and trends.
  • Bid management, proposal writing or sales experience.
  • The role will focus on global and international bids; therefore, experience in managing both would be a definite advantage.
  • Ability to think creatively, balancing the right bespoke proposals for our clients, with the requirements of our business.
  • Flexibility and the ability able to adapt your management style to support a wide range of different projects; sometimes with short deadlines.
  • Work well under pressure, meeting to deadlines whilst remaining supportive and positive.
  • Very high proficiency level in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Willingness and ability to learn quickly and embrace technology.
  • Ability to lead teams' confidently.
  • A great 'team player' willing and able to collaborate with the team and to actively share best practices and new ideas.
  • Able to positively influence bid team members and senior stakeholders.
  • Bridgebuilder and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizer and project manager.
  • Flexibility for international travel required periodically.
