Our Software Business Unit, part of the Materials & Structural Analysis Division (MSD), develops innovative software for 3D visualization and data analysis in a wide range of areas such as Life Sciences, Material Sciences and Semiconductor.

We provide industry-leading and research organizations with flexible and productive software that helps business, scientific and engineering users gain critical insight from all types of data.

The position is open in Bordeaux, France, where the BU has its management and R&D center.

How will you make an impact?
The Project Execution Manager
is responsible for the execution of projects according to schedules, responsibilities and within budget.

This includes coordinating the efforts of team members from various departments as well as third party consultants to deliver projects according to plan.

You drive projects in alignment with the strategic business plans and guidelines.


On top of this, you will be responsible for providing the right tools allowing clear and precise business analyses for the strategy and leadership to be able to drive decisions from data.

You will actively support Process Improvements within the team through PPI (JDI, RCCM, workshop)


What you will do:


  • Help in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal collaborators and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Help create processes, handle schedules and report on performance on projects: including Long Term vision, Annual Operation Plan preparation, prioritization/scoring, implementation, review committee
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within scope
  • Develop a detailed project plan to supervise and track progress
  • Handle changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
  • Measure performance using proper project management tools and techniques
  • Ensure feasibility of projects according to resource availability and allocation
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with other staff members
  • Assist/support in preparing, scheduling, and tracking the work of other team members.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and longterm goals
  • Propose and use the right data analysis environment (PowerBI, spreadsheets, diagrams, process maps ) to provide accurate Business Analysis information for better prioritization
  • Improves execution by implementing processes to lead new and existing projects
  • Communicate on team results and accomplishments.
  • Support PMMs in their relationships with third parties/vendors and partnerships
  • Actively support Process improvements within the team through PPI

What we need from you:


  • Experience and demonstrated skill both leading and prioritizing multiple projects and initiatives management
  • Experience with project management software tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiar with agile and other continuous improvement processes (PPI, LEAN)
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office, PowerBI, Miro, Aha, Jira, CRM
  • Project Management Professional skills (PMP) is a plus
  • Ability to specify (develop) plugins for existing databases (through PowerBI, XML, Office, Aha...) through programming / scripting
  • Knowledge in Materials et Life Sciences research and/or imaging instruments a plus
  • Knowledge in imaging software including advanced 2D/3D visualization, quantitative data analysis and workflow management a plus
