We are currently looking for a SysOps engineer to support, optimize and improve the Veepee's System Infrastructure within the Logistics Team.

You will be required to maintain the Warehouse Management Systems infrastructure in an operational condition for all our European warehouses.

You will join a team of 5 people composed of 5 System Administrators including 1 skilled DBA working closely with Applicative Engineers and Project managers to work on a challenging Logistic environment.

\uD83C\uDFAF TASKS:

Manage and maintain the Warehouse Management Systems infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
Administer and support Oracle Database environments, including installation, configuration, backup, recovery, monitoring, and performance tuning.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of warehouse management systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve system and databaserelated issues in a timely manner.
Develop and implement best practices for system administration and database management.
Assist in capacity planning and infrastructure scaling to accommodate business growth.
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
Participate in oncall rotation to ensure 24/7 support for critical systems.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the continuous improvement of our warehouse management systems infrastructure.

\uD83D\uDC49 MUST HAVE skills:

Strong troubleshooting skills;
Automating deployment and maintenance with IaC : Ansible and Terraform;
Knowledge on how to Monitor systems with Prometheus;
Hands on with Docker, GitDevops practicesLinux system knowledge
Fluency in English and french

\uD83D\uDC49 NICE TO HAVE skills:

Proficiency with Oracle Database or PostgreSQL;
Ability to optimize Database performance and architecture;
Write optimized DB queries;Skills in Virtualization (VMware) or Containerization (Docker);
Production experience on physical infrastructure.
Development with modern languages like go, javascript, typescriptFrench is a strong plus.
