Our strong and agile international team continues to grow and adapt to new challenges. Based in Grenoble (France), we have recently started operations our Verkor Innovation Centre (R&D centre and 4.0 pilot line).

We now focus on building the world's most modern and efficient Gigafactory in Dunkirk (France).

With this facility, our ambition is an initial annual production of 16 Gwh of lithium-ion batteries by 2025, thus powering 300,000 electric vehicles annually.

In joining us you will actively participate in this breathtaking industrial adventure to shape the future of European mobility.

We are currently looking for a LIMS System Engineer for our digital operations team at Verkor.

As such, you will be leading the development and implementation of our laboratory information management system and electronic lab record solutions


Responsibilities:


  • Lead, support, and perform activities in the following areas:
  • Technical design documentation (System Design Specification, System Requirements Specification), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user training, user acceptance testing (UAT), software validation, and change controls
  • Configuring SampleManager by using Explorer folders, forms, Report and Label Templates, and Workflows
  • Integrating information systems and lab instruments using SampleManager and/or Integration Manager
  • Writing parsers in SampleManager to file imports
  • Train lab engineers to become autonomous LIMS users.

Qualifications & skills:


  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a sciencerelated discipline (preferably informatics or bioinformatics).
  • 2+ years of experience with SampleManager as a LIMS administrator or with SampleManager LIMS configuration
  • 2+ years' experience implementing laboratory informatics software (LIMS, ELN, LES, SDMS)
  • Experience with Thermofisher Scientific SampleManager is preferred.
  • Computer programming skills, including C#, VGL, SQL, and integration with web services and APIs
  • Understanding of IT in a scientific and laboratory setting
  • Experience managing code repositories with GitHub or Azure DevOps is a plus.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.

  • Well versed with next generation battery manufacturing process and battery labs and invests energy to continuously develop your technical skills
  • A love for clean interfaces and automation, and a passion for a great user experience goes without saying
  • French language knowledge would be the cherry on the top
