We would like to welcome a new trainee in the Advanced Product Planning Team starting January 2024 This role will involve working in the heart of future product strategy team in Nissan Europe, planning Nissan's next generation of products. This will require strong analytical skills to be able to study market transformations, competitor activities, customer evolutions and emerging trends.

But data is nothing without insight:

ultimately this role is about producing strategy based on what the market data tells us about the future which will allow the Top Management to make the right product choices for the future.

This internship will be demanding but can be an excellent start to a career in the Automotive industry working at the core of the world's 4th biggest Automotive company.

Main tasks & responsibilities

  • Use of all Advanced Product Planning analytical tools proficiently to support the creation of market understanding reports, benchmarks of the competition and evaluations of the main customer trends.
  • Support the team towards one of the key moments of the year which is the annual regional seminar led by our MC Chairman for Nissan AMIEO.
  • Contribute to the development of new vehicles concepts to be presented to top management for validation
Background & Experience

  • Have an active interest in cars and the automotive industry
  • An excellent understanding of Microsoft office tools, advanced MS Excel capability is a strong advantage
  • The ability to show creativity in problem solving
  • Communication proficiency both written and verbal
  • Evidence of positive contribution in a team environment
  • Additionally will be an advantage: Market research/ Automotive strategy experience
  • Fluent written and verbal skills in English
