The team
Business Units Operations team will enable operational excellence and efficiency across all Murex's business units (BUs).

The team will closely work with the BU Managers, Business Developers (Bizdevs) and Client Managers (CMs), to develop and monitor client plans and Business Unit plans ("The Plans").

The Business Unit Operation team is primarily responsible for the management of The Plans lifecycle. Additionally, and upon request, the Business Units Operations team will support CLC and Bizdev Domains' activities. The team will also support Regional Manager in producing the Regional plan.


Business Operations team will leverage best practices, tooling, data, and processes to monitor The Plans' execution and provide business intelligence to enable decision-making throughout the lifecycle.


Your missions


Beyond supporting on a daily basis BU Operations manager, Business developers & Client managers, you will be the key contact of cross-functional teams working to enable operational excellence and efficiency across the business unit (BU).


More specifically, your missions will be:

  • Working closely with BU Operations manager to support BU managers drive quarterly and annual results.
  • Managing the process related to The Plans lifecycle (Creation, Update, ceremonies, etc.) and developing and improving this process at client & BU level
  • Providing data, guidelines, templates and tooling necessary for The Plans in collaboration with CLC and Bizdev Domains
  • Monitoring the execution of the plans following KPis and raising alerts and attention points
  • Working jointly with Domains plans Ops, Portfolio management and R&FP to ensure the collaboration on BU Objectives is smooth and efficient.
  • Working with BU managers, Client Managers, Bizdevs and other members of crossfunctional teams on Business Operations processes, productivity improvements, forecasting, CRM processes/workflows, and business intelligence/reporting
  • Conducting indepth analysis of our various businesses and develop deep understanding of key value drivers to identify improvement areas, opportunities, and share recommendations.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels (within the team, to crossfunctional partners, to leadership / executives)
  • Assisting in design and creation of training material and activities to BU managers, Client Managers and Bizdevs

Your profile

  • At least 7+ years of professional experience
  • Ability to interact with senior executives: You are able to work in fast paced environment and adjust on the fly to demands from senior executives
  • Highly analytical: You are analytical, with experience decomposing and solving real world business problems. Building/using advanced reports in BI tools is a plus.
  • Concise and effective communications: You are able to articulately present and debate recommendations with crossfunctional teams and senior leadership
  • Proactive and passionate: You are independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations
