- High-level technical training in chemical engineering or process engineering with, ideally, experience on an industrial site.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment with internal and external partners, as well as to simultaneously conduct several studies by sharing results and knowledge.
- Scientific curiosity, sense of innovation and rigor in the management of studies, spirit of synthesis.
- Fluency in French and English
- Coordinate the R&D aspects of the co-processing project for biolipid feedstocks in the Refining units and conduct specific studies for this project
- Study innovative biorefinery processes allowing increased production of sustainable aviation fuel
- Participate in defining and carrying out research programs
- Identify and implement the best suited tools (experimental, collaborations) to meet the needs of these programs
- Define experimental programs and analyze the results generated
- Ensure a support role in your field with the various OneTech entities and industrial sites
- Carry out technological and scientific monitoring (university or cooperative research) in coordination with your team
- Propose and carry out exploratory research based on innovative ideas or concepts
- And when your activities are successful, you will file the patents that protect our industrial property. In 2023, 6 patents have been filed by your future team.
- Ensure planning, monitoring of technical and budgetary implementation of studies under your responsibility
- Coordinate the multiple internal and external stakeholders involved in your projects
- Supervise interns and work-study students

Candidate ProfileWithin the Biofuels R&D program, OneTech is looking for a Biofuel R&D Process Engineer in a context of growing demand for renewable aviation fuels. The Company's ambition is to produce 1.5 million tons per year by 2030.
As a Biofuel Process R&D Engineer, your main missions are as follows:
To meet its ambitious objectives of the energy transition towards electricity and renewable energies, TotalEnergies' entity, OneTech, combines all the corporate departments providing technical support to our operations and R&D (Exploration & Production, Refining & Chemical, Marketing & Services and Gas, Renewables & Power).
