About You:


As the EMEA Product Developer, you will join the Kimberly-Clark Professional Research and Engineering function, focused on professional hand towel, bath tissue, facial tissue and wiper product support and development.

Specifically, you will be responsible for product improvements of paper categories including hygiene and wiping solutions, ensuring the products meet brand standards, maintain high quality and deliver on cost targets.


The role is critical to maintain our global brand standards and to fuel continued growth in the bath, towel, facial tissue and light wiper categories.

You will report to R&D Manager EMEA and will be an individual contributor (no direct reports).


YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  • Ensuring that all products meet product cost, performance and technical requirements, comply with local regulatory rules, and deliver on the targeted customer need.
  • Partnering with the regional business team to ensure alignment on planned product changes and launches.
  • Working with business partners to prioritize solutions and identify preferred technical solutions
  • Working with crossfunctional teams to define project timelines and commercialization pathways
  • Leading crossfunctional work team to deliver product solutions
  • Developing and delivering robust timelines, budgets, and resource forecasts
  • Managing product specifications and product compliance to regulatory certifications and business accreditations

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:


  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline (e.g. Chemical engineering, Pulp/Paper Engineering, Biology, Materials Science, Pulp & Paper, Science, and Chemistry)
  • Proven track record of working in process or product development roles in the industry
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects within required timeframes
  • Preferred previous experience in product development and commercialization processes, including development & testing of concepts and prototypes to meet prioritized end user needs
  • Highly creative, excellent brainstorming and problemsolving skills
  • Experience working crossfunctionally with business unit marketing and manufacturing teams, flexibly meeting the needs of teams across the region
  • Travel Requirements EMEA 30% travel expected on average
  • Fluent in English
