Full-time, permanent position, Izmir (Türkiye)

Context

Sakata Tohum Türkiye is a subsidiary of EMEA Sakata Vegetables and is responsible for the development and
expansion of the activities across the Türkiye area. With our wide array of vegetable seeds, we want to create a
confidence-based relationship with our customers, working to our age-old motto of Quality, Reliability and Service.

Member of the local executive team, reporting to General Manager, this position is based in Izmir office. Besides
being responsible for all finance, accounting, treasury, human resources and administration, this position will play
critical role in the direction of the subsidiary in Türkiye.

Missions

In this position your main missions will be to:

  • Manage and lead the finance and accounting team.
  • Full ownership of budget preparation and presentation to EMEA top management
  • Take part in local executive committee and contribute to strategic planning and execution of the
subsidiary.

  • Ensure the quality of accounting and legal requirements for documentation and tax declarations.
  • Manage the credit control and accounts receivable.
  • Business control; monitor and manage the pricing and profitability, OPEX, cash flow projections and
financing costs.

  • Ensure the annual IFRS audit and monthly tax audit are completed timely and accurately.
  • React to new IFRS standards, with action plan and implementation skills.
  • Lead and manage the human resources for payroll, recruitment, performance management, learning and
development activities.

  • Manage IT projects under the supervision of IT department for ERP implementation and development.
  • Design, implement and improve processes and internal controls where necessary.
Profile***finance areas, holding a CPA certificate with minimum 5 years of experience on a similar position and 10+ years

combined with several years of audit experience in Big4 audit companies followed by corporate experience.

Team management experience and excellent communication skills (internal and external) with different cultures

and various levels are crucial for this position.

You are fluent in English and having an excellent knowledge in using the Office Pack (Excel, Power Point, etc.),

and preferably experienced on ERP's, good to have experience on Microsoft Business Central (Navision, 365
