The Role and What You'll Do:
Working as part of the Security Functional Area (SEC FA), the On Location Paris 2024 H&S Manager work with the H&S Director and other stakeholder to ensure On Location's Paris 2024 project complies with all H&S-related legal obligations and has effective control measures in place to mitigate work-related risks of injury, harm or ill-health to staff, clients and the general public as a result of its activities, including that of contractors


Duties include:

  • Assist in the conduct an initial analysis of the On Location Paris 2024 project H&S profile, identifying key challenges in terms of risk and compliance and formulating a prioritised strategy to address them
  • Assist in keeping all aspects of H&S under review to ensure risks are mitigated and legal obligations are met
  • Assist in the monitoring and coordination of the work of any H&S contractors in support of the On Location Paris 24 project, including 'Preventionists' at venues
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the On Location Paris 2024 project comply with national and local H&S regulations; this includes venues and On Location's enabling administrative and logistic activities
  • Provide advice on H&Srelated matters, including risk prioritisation, risk control, contractor vetting, the roles and responsibilities of On Location managers, staff, contractors, venue management, etc, including liaisons with external agencies and regulators, etc
  • Assist in continually monitoring the most critical H&S risks and the effectiveness of control measures through audits and other assurance mechanisms
  • Contribute to a strong H&S culture across the On Location Paris 2024 project that requires leading by example, prioritising the control of H&S risk, legal compliance, open and honest reporting, etc
  • Assist in implementing systems and processes to record and measure H&S performance, holding stakeholders to account and driving continual improvement across the On Location Paris 2024 project
  • Assist in the formal recording of H&S accidents, incidents and near misses and support investigations to prevent recurrence as required

You Have These:

  • Accredited membership of Health and Safety or Risk Management professional body
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Experience of working in the hospitality and events sector
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills
  • A practical, businessoriented approach, able to produce high quality work at pace
  • Very good interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
