Our focus is on Digital Science research, developing new algorithms and applying artificial intelligence (AI) to address complex challenges in electron microscopy.
Our team operates across multiple locations, including Bordeaux, France; Eindhoven, The Netherlands; Brno, Czech Republic; and Portland, OR, USA.Structural Analysis Division Discover Impactful Work:
Imaging systems, like electron microscopes, have advanced in data acquisition, collecting more data at a faster rate. This has driven the success of deep learning in image processing. However, access to accurately annotated data is essential. In this internship, we focus on innovative ways using computer vision foundation models for efficient interactive annotation.
Our goal is to accelerate and automate the annotation process and improve the utilization of AI with limited annotated data.

This internship, based in Bordeaux, France, offers the chance to support our research team in developing proof of concept projects.
