The position:

The Technical Communication department provides Cosmo Tech with its skills and its editorial, didactic and graphic expertise.

It is composed of a Technical Communication Director, a technical writer and a UI Designer.

Today, Cosmo Tech is looking for a Technical Writer Intern (F/H) to join its teams for its technical product documentation activities.

You will work with our product design teams. During your internship, you will create and update technical documents and help needed to use the solutions. You will work in collaboration and coordination with the developers and the product managers.

Under the supervision of the Director of Technical Communication you will:

Interview developers and product managers to identify features; and users to identify gaps in documentation
Conduct technical analysis of product features
Structure the documentation according to user needs
Produce and update the documentation of our solutions,
Ensure the writing in English,
Produce drawings and diagrams to describe the sequence of operations to be performed,
Search for additional technical information from the teams (developers, experts)

Madcap Flare
Git
Microsoft Word, Powerpoint
Google Apps
Confluence (wiki), JIRA (ticket management)
Snag It (screenshots)

Your profile:

Currently in training Bac +4 / Bac +5, you are looking for a 6 months internship, from March 202
You have scientific and industrial knowledge.
You have very good writing skills. Your sense of pedagogy and your taste for technical environments are assets for this position.
You have knowledge related to document engineering, ideally in technical writing.
You know how to read software technical specifications.
You master structured documentation tools.
You have a good level of oral English as well as excellent writing skills in English and French
Your rigor, your analytical skills and your ability to work in a team are key assets for this position.
