- Identifying patentable inventions
- Analyzing the patentability of inventions
- Working on the patent portfolio (including drafting, examination procedures)
- Analysis of freedom to operate
- Enhancing the intellectual property knowledge of R&D teams through training courses
- Monitoring the know-how protection process
- At least an MSc in food chemistry, food science, food technology, biochemistry, bioscience or adjacent fields
- CEIPI Strasbourg diploma required
- First professional experience as a patent engineer
- Excellent writing skills and ability to summarise and make information readable
- Thoroughness, organisation and strong analytical skills
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and team-building skills (in an international context)
- Ability to interact effectively and constructively with various functions at all levels of the organisation
- Fluency in written and spoken English and French
- Permanent contract - Full-time - Executive status
- Competitive remuneration: 42-45 KE over 13 months + benefits such as lunch card, RTT, CSE benefits, profit-sharing, etc.

The Pet Food division offers product solutions and services to improve the taste and acceptance of food by pets, to guarantee the safety of pet food and for animal health. To study food acceptance, feeding behaviour and interactions between owners and pets, the division has four centres of expertise with around 1,000 dogs and cats.
