VAISALA France SAS subsidiary, located in Saclay (91), is a major supplier of atmospheric measurement instruments for the analysis of wind profiles, due to LIDAR laser technology (mainly optics, photonics and electronics).

Its different markets are the wind industry, international airports, meteorology and air quality. VAISALA France achieves its turnover mainly internationally on 5 continents.

Missions
VAISALA France is looking for a
Market Analysis for Permanent Wind Lidar Intern M/F.

Under the responsibility of our Market Development manager, the intern will join the Sales and Marketing team in charge of Weather for Wind farms department and support it by discovering aspects of the tasks of a Market Analysis for wind farms in operation.

Working with the team, your missions will consist in:

Define the addressable market (global and regional analysis, onshore and offshore)
Analyze the current solutions, their advantages and limitations
Identify the expectations of wind farm operators
Define our compelling lidar offering (price, business model, product feature, services )
Identify differentiators with met masts and create new services for farm operators
Build the lobbying actions to run in order to successfully penetrate this market
Beyond wind lidars, identify additional weatherrelated needs (icing, temperature profile etc.

With the support of the team, the deliverables will be:

Market Analysis report for Permanent Wind Lidar usage on Wind farm in operation: description of input data,
Analysis of needs, limit current solutions,
Action plan with proposal for our product offer for Wind Lidar and Weather solutions

Profil
Currently studying for a Bac+4/5 in Engineer/Business school or Master's degree with a market/customer orientation and focus on technology.

Academic and Technical skills:

Fluent in English and French (speaking and writing)
Interested in technologies (ideally sensing, data, atmospheric science)

Soft Skills:

Dynamic, motivated, proactive, autonomous
Good presentation and communication skills
Analytical and synthetic

Practical Aspects

Workplace :
Saclay (91), ), free shuttle service from RER B "Le Guichet" station

Contract :
Internship agreement for a period of 6months

Starting Date :
in March 2024
