Mission


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop business activity in assigned market (Customers and territories): generate profitable growth.
  • Identifying and driving the new business development opportunities
  • Coordinate actions between sales force and manufacturing / development sites.
  • Coordinate commercial and support actions to sustain and grow market share.
  • Negotiate and validate sales prices and gross margin targets with Management's agreement.
  • Support local sales force with customer visits.
  • Identify opportunities and risks on assigned market.
  • Create sales strategy proposals based on market trends and product offerings.
  • Validate and prioritize sales forecast from subsidiaries.
  • Participate to budgets and business plans evolutions.
  • Proactively drive and develop the market strategy for Thin film deposition and Metallurgy markets.
  • Lead a global team (France, US, China, Germany) of market managers / Business developers for Thin film deposition & Metallurgy markets
  • Being the advocate for Industry markets in the production site in Annecy
Profil

  • Engineer level with commercial or marketing competences
  • Dynamic and entrepreneurship approach. Strong growth mindset required
  • Experience in business development preferable in Thin Film Deposition or Metallurgy market
  • Experience in Leadership of multicultural business development teams
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required to work with worldwide partners.
  • Negotiation experience and skills.
  • Fluent in English
  • Knowledge of vacuum technology and Pfeiffer Vacuum product or competitions product portfolio relevant for Metallurgy & Thin Film Deposition is an advantage
  • Ability and flexibility to travel
  • Managing capabilities
