Description

As HSE manager, you will be responsible to manage HSE on wind and potentially solar sites at CGNEE in France, Belgium, and Senegal.

This will include HSE monitoring of operational activities and management of HSE requirements for CGNEE employees.

General Responsibilities (but not limited to)

Develop and execute HSE management system according to legal guidelines and best practices, in cooperation with the HSE team
Enforce policies to establish a culture of HSE
Organizing, execution and follow up on HSE activities (including all environmental commitments and obligations)
Carry out spite inspections
Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees, sites, and contractors
Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions
Carry out incident / accident investigations and root cause analysis
Recommend improvement opportunities or new prevention measures
Report on HSE awareness, issues, and statistics to the team
Maintain positive and proactive relations with managers, employees, contractors, and regulatory agencies
Ad hoc duties as required

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years' experience in HSE (or at least 3 years in UK market) dedicated to renewable energy or electrical grid market
Degree specialized in HSE or equivalent
Proactive attitude and highly motivated
French and English speaker
Must possess a valid driver's license
Deep understanding of legal HSE guidelines
Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies
