As part of a software team, the trainee will take part in the development of our new generation of video processing products (encoder/transcoder/decoder/recorder/etc.), multi-format (HD/4K/8K), multi-standard (H264/HEVC/VVC).

As part of a Scrum project team comprising engineers with different skills (HW, VHDL, SW, Validation), you will contribute to the development of the emulation platform based on QEMU (open source software dedicated to emulating processor architectures), which will be used to prototype the functionalities of this new generation of products.

This will involve

Studying the possibilities offered by QEMU

- using QEMU to model the architecture of the new-generation VITEC codec

Validating the behaviour of the model
Write the associated documentation

Skills required
A good knowledge of real-time embedded computing and the C++ language is required.
A good command of English (written and spoken) is essential.

Location and duration
VITEC Group head office in Châtillon , for a minimum of 6 months.

Financial conditions
Monthly allowance of €1,500 gross.
