What you will do
As
DPM for Local
IT Delivery Quality, **Directly reporting to IT Operations Manager, your role is to drive, develop and provide measurements in 3 main domains:

Operations Essentials:

This entails the assurance of IT Quality locally delivered by IT delivery teams across various sectors of the Volvo Group, encompassing factories, warehouses, dealerships, and the design area.

Your responsibilities extend to leading the ongoing implementation project, establishing standards, driving horizontal expansion, and spearheading the automation efforts.

  • Single point of contact for IOS Onsite related to ITSM Agile for IOS and OneRhythm calendar SPOC, your role involves providing comprehensive support, guidance, and knowledge dissemination to local teams.
  • Onsite Delivery Framework: Your responsibilities also encompass overseeing the Onsite Delivery Framework, wherein you are tasked with furnishing guidance and ensuring transparency in the tasks performed by onsite teams. This includes monitoring and maintaining visibility into the quality of work delivered by onsite teams.

Activities

Develop Local IT delivery area based on 3 dimensions (IT Ops, Agile for IOS and ODF) and disseminate the quality culture around IT operations.


Position Description

  • Create a strong partnership with ITSM Team, Onsite Managers and DPOs.
  • Coordinate the systematic approach to improve work.
  • Promote, implement, and maintain the performance management at the Local sites.
  • Secure the knowledge, understanding, usage and quality at the 16 disciplines of IT Ops.
  • Assess Local IT team and support them to remove the deviations.
  • Build, align and deliver the 10 weeks calendar plan between Onsite team and Q&S.
  • Structure Onsite Teams with Agile ways of working connecting with ServiceNow.
  • Coordinate the OKR (objectives and key results) process together with the team and conducts the check in event to monitor the progress of OKRs.

Required competencies

  • Interest in driving new Ways of Working, improving IT processes and developing people.
  • Presentation skills including ability to effectively communicate with technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Passion to drive global teams in joint activities, to develop and coach people.
  • Team player and committed to getting the job done Result and visual management oriented.
  • Product Management background.
  • Proven IT Local Delivery experience (factories, dealers,).
  • Broad Quality experience as well as demonstrated experience in driving operational improvement and execution is a prerequisite.
  • Experience from leading cross functional teams in a global context and managing good relationships with business partners and stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical skills and "can do" mindset.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Leading people position
  • Relevant university degree
  • Complete proficiency in English is a requirement
