We are seeking a talented and passionate Intern Concept Artist to join our creative team.


As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced designers and producers and contribute to the development of various visual assets for our projects.

This position is an excellent opportunity for aspiring concept artists to gain practical experience in a professional environment and expand their portfolio.

As an intern concept artist, you will produce conceptual art to illustrate ideas and pitches for presentations.

Your work will contribute to shaping the visual direction and narrative of our project, offering valuable experience and opportunities for portfolio development.


Responsibilities:


  • Produce highquality visual concepts, including character designs, environments, props, and other elements based on project requirements.
  • Collaborate with the art director and designers to develop and iterate on concept art ideas and designs, ensuring they align with the project's vision and style.
  • Conduct research and gather references to support the concept art creation process, staying uptodate with industry trends and techniques.
  • Create detailed sketches, illustrations, and digital paintings that effectively communicate the desired artistic direction and vision.
  • Seek feedback from the team and incorporate suggestions to enhance the quality and impact of the concept art.
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines and deliver highquality artwork.
  • Take the initiative to expand artistic skills and knowledge, exploring new techniques and styles contributing to the creative process.

Qualifications:


  • Currently enrolled in study at a French school/university
  • Strong artistic and drawing skills, with a solid foundation in anatomy, perspective, composition, and colour theory.
  • Proficient in digital art software such as Photoshop, or similar tools.

Desired Skills:


  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to create visually compelling artwork that conveys mood, storytelling, and design intent.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates a range of artistic skills, including character design, environment design, and the ability to work in various styles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take direction and incorporate feedback effectively.
  • Selfmotivated, proactive, and able to manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Passion for video games, movies, animation, or other related industries, with a strong interest in concept art.
