Position Summary

JOB PURPOSE

Receive, store, maintain inventory, prepare orders and ship goods, products and raw materials to best meet customer needs, in compliance with the company's rules, deadlines, directives and quality and safety procedures.

JOB ACTIVITIES

Position items in the appropriate zones according to their characteristics, orders and mode of transport
Ensure data entry for physical flows
Prepare customer orders on the basis of listed documents
Contribute to storage monitoring and optimization (control, updates, etc.)
Keeping the logistics area tidy and preserving the quality of goods
Organize your work according to the priorities set by your line manager to ensure optimal service (speed and quality).
Participate in the annual inventory process
Monitor the proper working order of equipment in the logistics area and report any anomalies to the line manager and/or Operational Safety.
Perform specific operations such as repackaging, packaging, simple assembly, final product inspection.
Carry out handling operations using light handling equipment (pallet truck, etc.) or selfpropelled machines (forklift truck), in compliance with safety rules and ensuring that you have the necessary authorizations for the operation.
Report safety risks that may be perceived on a daily basis through Gensuite.
Inform the Purchasing department of any incoming problems relating to suppliers.
Initiate/participate in logistics zone improvement projects

SKILLS AND PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE

Professional experience of 2 to 3 years minimum
Basic knowledge of warehousing and storage rules
Knowledge of ERP warehouse module
Possession of one or more CACES certificates
Organizational skills and thoroughness
Versatility essential (shipping, receiving, warehousing, logistics area...) and all activities related to Materials Flow
Ability to work in a team, interpersonal skills, listening and communication skills
Basic computer skills
