The Digital Content & Social Media Specialist provides actionable insights and co-creates the overall success of Alstom community strategies and social media communications improving professional-grade content, giving visibility to our operations and boosting our brand image.


You will be accountable for:


  • Supporting the external communications team in the timely publication of content on Alstom's external website and social media accounts in coordination with the respective stakeholders (Media Relations, Brand/Audiovisual, Product Lines and Functions)
  • Supporting the team in daytoday publishing, content drafting and review and supports
  • Implementing of the global social media strategy for the company
  • Rolling out dedicated web and social media campaigns/projects in line with the objectives and the editorial calendar
  • Carrying out monthly and ad hoc analytics and supports with the regular update and improvement of our processes
  • Being an efficient support to internal customers (Product Lines, Functions, Executives, employees) to represent and promote the Alstom brand on social media through consistent, qualitative, branded and engaging content

How will your success be measured?

  • Traffic on Alstom web pages in permanent positive upwards trend
  • Followers, engagement and share of voice of Alstom in social media is positive and in permanent progress
  • Campaignbased KPI's

Required qualifications:


  • Bilingual in English and French
  • Excellent copywriting
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required e.g. communications, journalism or business school
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications with experience digital communications, social media management and content creation; preferably in an agency; prior analytics experience and knowledge of the media ecosystem is a plus
  • Software: Fully at ease with content creation tools (photo/video production, Adobe Suite, Final Cut/Premiere)
  • Proven experience in paid campaign strategy in the B2B domain (LinkedIn, Twitter, Meta)
  • Experience in data analytics
  • At ease with MS Office; including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Fluent in English and French with excellent copywriting
  • Able to work in a fastpaced environments, solid planning, priority setting, time management and project management skills
  • Team player highly motivated and collaborative
  • Good at developing relationships with crossfunctional teams
  • High attention to detail and an understanding of "what great looks like"
  • Project management and organisational skills

Preferred qualifications:


  • Awareness of audiovisual content creation and visual storytelling
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tactics and campaign management
  • Handson experience in B2B marketing/social media marketing domain and experience in agencies is a plus
  • Understanding of brand and visual content creation
