Your Mission

We are looking for a Confirmed Android Engineer to join our Post-Booking squad at BlaBlaCar. You'll build and optimise features enabling passengers to effortlessly manage their bookings postpurchase, enhancing the aftersales experience and fostering customer satisfaction and loyalty.

As a Confirmed Android Engineer, your role will be to work on technical challenges and product feature developments from early-stage conception to development, testing strategy, deployment and monitoring of new releases.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will mainly:
Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to help shape the features that lands in production
Share your knowledge in the team: provide documentation on your work, enforce good practices and processes, communicate on changes
Conduct code reviews

Your qualifications

You have 3+ years experience building Android apps with a strong engineering culture
You are proficient with MVVM architecture and clean architecture
You have experience working on RESTful API, Dagger, Retrofit, Kotlin, Kotlin coroutines, unit and integration tests
You are able to find the good balance between fast iterations and quality of delivery
You have good communication skills, and you enjoy sharing & learning from others
You embrace change, are able to take a step back, and focus on addedvalue tasks
You have a resultsdriven and productoriented mindset
You are fluent in English
